Another reason for the sheer amount of death that happened during the Quest for the Holy Grail that both Galahad and Nacien seemed to bring about might be that Galahad is a genuinely good man, he just happens to be associated with a relic associated with betrayal and the breaking of a fellowship.
Agreed! Also, I think the main point is that the Grail was not a symbol of betrayal. This is a very very modern re imagining.
