Arthurian Legends

What’s your opinion on the new Arthurian movie? It has mixed reviews but I really liked it myself. The soundtrack and cinematography (or whatever you call that) were amazing, too.

I have yet to watch it! I’ll go to the cinema this weekend 🙂

In Sword of Lancelot Mordred has a little ridiculous hawk always on his shoulder.

It’s ridiculous.

GOSH. His best friend. What kind of hawk is that? I guess it’s a pidgeon painted like a hawk, it’s so tiny.

But his smile is adorable.

anybody got recommendations for books on the arthurian legend and possibly the history behind it? I found the Historia Brittonum by Nennius on amazon, but I’m not sure it’s what I’m looking for…

Are there any books or film/tv adaptations that focus on the Fisher King?

Indded there are books and tv with the Fisher King but nothing really focused on him or with a focus on him, a part from:
– a Merlin BBC episode wit the Fisher King in it (3×8)
– The book “Corbenic” by Catherine Fisher
– strangely enough, a non arthurian movie called “The Fisher King” if you like metaphorical tales
