I finally have an internet connection! Which means that I am organizing another watch and live chat 🙂 so this Saturday (Sunday for Australias) we will watch episode 7 and 8 of The Aventures of Sir Lancelot! (And maybe next week we can have a break with an arthurian movie before going on with the series).
This is a very homemade streaming as… not really a streaming. We will get in the chatroom all together and then we will start the video at the same time! It was pretty good from what I remember, acting as a kind of bridge between the DC versions of the characters and the more folkloric incarnations (for example, Arthur in the above art is how he appears in a lot of flashbacks involving Etrigan or Shining Knight back in the day, but flashbacks to Mordred’s origin story have the characters in more traditional armour and a more grim tone).
Strictly speaking Camelot 3000 didn’t really take place in the DCU, per se, but it did involve a lot of character designs which were similar to those used in the aforementioned DC Arthurian stories.
In which Dame Leslie and Sir Blackwood reunite for an actually really enjoyable children’s movie. We really have no serious complaints.
