if you are and arthurian blog pls send me a message or like this post and i’ll follow you! i need more arthurian in my dash
I don’t normally post my art here anymore, but I am rather pleased with how this painting of King Arthur came out.
I’m not sure exactly why it’s snowing… but hey, 2016 has been rough and even Arthur is feeling the stress of his impending battle with Mordred.
Arthur has become a kind of personal benchmark for my art and I’m content to paint and repaint him every couple of years or so, until the end of time.
It’s satisfying to see how far I’ve come and it’s a useful tool for determining where I still need to grow as an artist. So the second… much simpler drawing.. is from back in 2007. You can see that I still lack imagination when it comes to poses. Maybe that’s why I’ve taken to building 3D environments these days.

Le Roi Arthur English Subs
Here’s a link to download the English subtitles for La Légende du Roi Arthur. The zip file contains both .srt and .ass versions of the subs, and both should work just fine with a player like VLC. Please feel free to share but do not claim as your own. Enjoy!!!
Thank you so much!
Excalibur Rising (2017)
A re-imagining of the Arthurian legend centered around Arthur’s illegitimate son Owain who must learn to take up his father’s mantle as king.
I HAVE NEEDED THIS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIMES.
“The accusations are false, I am innocent of such crimes. I have never once betrayed the king, my husband for I love him dearly. Yes, Lancelot has a place in my heart but only because it is natural to care for the man who taught you how powerful devotion and affection can be. Though, I have never once forsaken my loyalty to Arthur. Believe me when I say that I love my husband and I could not bear to lose him…Let the nobles gossip, tattle and whisper for their words are worthless in the quest for honesty.”
-Guinevere on the rumours of her affair with Lancelot
