So, some arthurian trashy movies are really bad, but some are also on youtube, so I was wondering if there was anyone that would like to watch a trashy arthurian movie (on youtube) while chatting about it in a side page.
on slack (in that case people need to register and I need to invite them to the chat, but on the pro side: it’s easier to keep track of the time and when to begin)
or another chat.
Possible times: 7 pm GMT (which is 9 pm GMT+2, 3 pm in New York, 8 pm in London). On a work day, or on a Sunday.
I just did this with the Les Mis fandom and it was so nice!
So I’m tagging… arthurian people by memory so I am surely missing people!
Dame Leslie and Sir Blackwood are totally in! This looks like a blast.
Yeee! About the chat, one option is slack, which enable people to create a chat group. But it works only via invitations (so via mail) and I understand that it might not be comfortable for everyone to share their mails with me. Otherwise we can create a temporary chat on disposablechat!
so I was thinking this time and day? (I’ll write a decent post later as well)
27th September (this Tuesday)
the time is: GMT+2 (Italy) 11 pm Sidney 7 am the next day New York 5 pm London 10 pm

Reading Mists of Avalon right now. All the women in the book are so inspiring! Here’s a quick sketch of Morgaine.

Among the Celts, combat was not reserved to men 🙂
Celtic women wielded many weapons, including swords, spears and bow. They were also usually teaching young children how to fight.
According to the tradition, they would hang up their weapons when caring for a newborn child but would take them back in case of dire necessity.
And so, here is the armor that Ygern of Tintagel is wearing when some events hit her kingdom…
