Do any of my Arthurian friends remember A Knight in Camelot, yet another adaptation of Connecticut Yankee except it started Whoopi Goldberg and actually followed the plot of the book so it turned into a political story about Whoopi Goldberg lecturing Arthur about the evils of feudalism? That movie was surprisingly intense.

I love that movie so much! It is probably my favourite connecticut yankee movie alongside the 1989 one.

I don’t think Galahad was a particularly good person. I think he was just a religious fanatic. (Which is why a lot of modern writers hate him. He and Nacien convinced the Round Table to drink the Kool-Aid!)

Well, honestly I don’t think Galahad was ever a person at all! His connection with religion and his single-minded attitude towards it when he was created is surely the reason why many modern authors hate him.

I am biased, so in my opinion, it’s just writing lazily! Unless his religious fanaticism is explained well!
