Merlin has his own box. It’s a metaphor for the cave Nimue stuck him in that one time.
This is beautiful I want to print it and put it on my wall
i have no clue if this format is remotely readable. it’s two pieces (a sestina and a companion sestina, breaking slightly from the format) which are separate (black and red text) but can be read interspersed as well. the first draws mainly on chrétien de troyes’ perceval and the second draws mainly on queste del saint graal though both draw on other texts too. they can be read as an unsuccessful and successful grail quest, or as childhood/adulthood narratives respectively
[ text-only Sir Perceval ] and [ text-only Sir Perceval II ] for easier reading
Just a reminder–we currently have on display an exhibit of handwritten and handmade materials. Come check out these marvels of penmanship and artistry!
The exhibit will be open for one more month–we look forward to seeing you! In the meantime, check out this manuscript which beautifully details the heraldry of the court of King Arthur.

Suddenly I’m not half the man I used to be.
There’s a shadow hanging over me.
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.About 3 years ago I made a porcelain music box case, for a movement that played “Yesterday” by the Beatles. I’ve always had a bit of a fixation on Mordred from the old King Arthur legends, so I chose to make the scene of his death because the song is so sad and something made me think of him.
The porcelain gives the music box an amazing resonance. No glazes, all hand made and fired at cone 9.
This is amazing! Do you have a shop?
