Has anyone else read Arthur Rex by Thomas Berger, author of Little Big Man?
Well, you should.
I do remember I liked it, but I’ve read it ages ago.

Oh, guys. I just read a graphic adaptation of Yvain, The Knight of the Lion by M.T. Anderson and Andrea Offermann and oh man. It was so good and so depressing. Also I absolutely love this Bayeux tapestry-looking sequence, and the fact that it kept the birds from the poem!
This looks amazing!! Thank you for sharing, I didn’t even know this existed
Do you have any expectations for Giles Kristian’s “Lancelot”? It will be released this 31 may, and Kristian is a succesful historical fiction author.
Ohh I didn’t know about this novel.
I admit I am not a big fan of Lancelot.I just read the plot on goodreads and there seems to be Nimue in it. I wonder if Morgause and the sons (and Mordred) will appear as well! I might not look the book up as soon as it comes out as my reading list is quite long, but I’ll look out for reviews (and to find out which characters are in the novel)!
But for all the Lancelot fans around: Lancelot by Giles Kristian

Adding complexity to both Arthur and his knights, and doing it through
the eyes of a priestess, is a clever twist that holds the reader’s
attention from the very start. Despite the magical nature of this
fiction, Wherrett’s book seems far more real and accessible than
standard myths. By removing some of the romanticized aspects of this
subject matter, the book says something far more powerful about
leadership, personal origins, and the concept of destiny. Lady of the
Lake is a highly original take on Arthurian legend, and this sense of
originality makes the book a compelling read from start to finish.
With #neilgaiman and #jkrowling recommending this book, I think it is safe for me to expect to enjoy it. Yeah? #kubf18 #new #bloggingfromkarachi #readersofinstagram #readersinpakistan #midureads #paperbacks
