When you’re reading a non Arthurian book and it sneaks itself in anyway anyway 😀
This is called Strange Practice by Vivian Shaw and it’s brilliant too
Quotes everywhere!

Thanks Morgan
Unfortunately I’ve never heard of this novel, but opefully someone will know about this and recognize the plot!
Another read I’m hoping to start sometime soon! I’m missing being in school, so hopefully reading about one of my academic interests will do the trick. What’s nice is this particular edition is easy to read and has beautiful illustrations as well, so I won’t be giving myself a headache between shifts trying to put myself back into the mindset to read Medieval Lit (as I would be had I bought the Le Morte d’Arthur)
What a beautiful cover!
The Story of King Arthur and His Knights by Howard Pyle
Short cute story about Traitors, with Mordred in it as well.
arthurian chronicles (1978 ed., cover illustration by geoffrey fraser)
as far as I know only available as ebook

I didn’t plan on reading that one soon. After all, I have plenty of unread Arthurian books already, so I don’t need to buy a new one to read that instead. But back then when someone around here recommended it I liked the cover, and when it was listed in the answers to “What is the first Arthurian book you’ll be reading this year?” I remembered about it, so I went and bought it.
As usual, some spoilers.
I am finally reading “Airships of Camelot” and I knew it was good, I heard some amazing reviews BUT THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD
I was sold when the author described how Kay had her lungs modified and she could even not sleep for nine days
LIKE CULHWCH AND OLWEN TELLS US
This author needs to write a thousand more arthurian books
I swear, I’m usually very generous with my ratings and reviews, I just happen to stumble upon weird books
