gawaincomic:

I’ve just sent the comic to the printer – I’m still trembling! I have never made a book(let) before and I am barely familiar with InDesign, so I hope I didn’t do anything too crazy with my print file. As it is, I’m only just in time to have my copies printed for my end-of-year exam…

These aren’t “your” copies yet. I’ve realised that these comics can have a maximum of 48 pages (including 4 that constitute the cover and inside cover), so I need to watch how I split up my roughly 140-page Darkest Hour. So I’m going to ink 5 more and end on a proper cliffhanger (*wink*).

That means that if you’re interested in the comic, there is still time to let me know! So far I’ve got 4 people who want one – plus my immediate family and closest friends, who feel morally obliged to get one :p. So um, there is room.

It has been great fun to draw Ygraine, Gorlois and Uther again. In the next bit, there will be more Morgause and Morgana, and I’m looking forward to that too :).

newlyorange:

Oh, guys. I just read a graphic adaptation of Yvain, The Knight of the Lion by M.T. Anderson and Andrea Offermann and oh man. It was so good and so depressing. Also I absolutely love this Bayeux tapestry-looking sequence, and the fact that it kept the birds from the poem!

This looks amazing!! Thank you for sharing, I didn’t even know this existed
