Gareth: I’m scared.
Morgause: Do you trust me son?
Gareth: Yes – lets himself fall back and falls to the ground-
Morgause: Rule number one, do not trust anybody.

The Red Knight rode proudly down into the valley.
Mary Macgregor, Stories of King Arthur’s Knights, illustrated by C. Walter Hodges (London: Thomas Nelson and Sons Ltd, no date).

New version, with a charcoal base and some added reds.
I don’t remember when I decided that Gaheris had a red beard, but there you go: he has a red beard. That *might* be why he is Gawain’s favourite brother.
Five Orkney Brothers, from left to right: Gareth, Gaheris, Gawain, Agravain, Mordred.
Racebent Arthuriana (2/?): The Princes of Orkney
Prabhas as Gawain, the loyal, humble, and proto-feminist one.
Rana Duggubati as Gaheris, the troubled but cute one.
Ram Charan Teja as Gareth, the unrealistically idealistic one.
Allu Arjun as Agravain, the unpopular (but always right) one.
Siddharth as Mordred, the youngest–and doomed to be damned–one.

The Knight of the Kitchen :
« Turn and flee while there is yet time »
Gaheris: I am really offended we weren’t invited to the tournament this year. Our self respect demands a harsh response.
Agravaine: We’re thinking about bringing the king a rich breakfast every morning. Then, when he’s grown accustomed to it, we’ll inexplicably stop it.
Gawain: Guys, why don’t you just talk to him? Tell him your feelings are hurt and … Wait a second, you guys stopped bringing me breakfast two weeks ago!
Gaheris: You know what you did

A very trimmed Arthurian family tree!
Amazing how I can draw like 6 beards in one picture and still have no idea how to actually draw them!
This is my first design for a lot of them (how had I never drawn Morgana before?????) and it sorta shows, and I’ve changed some of my older designs (mainly Mordred whose hair color I am still debating), but I’m pretty satisfied on the whole.
THIS IS AMAZING!!!
Oh my gosh, this is great! : D I love it. I love the way you draw them too (look at that lovely Elaine!)
Lancelot: Not to offend anyone, but could you ask to Sir Kay why the dinner seems… always the same?
Gareth: Sir Kay really does like to look up recipes and go, “Who’s got the time?”
