Squire Terence has his hand full helping Sir Gwain on his latest quest to find the Green Knight. Along the way they meet the damsel Eileen and have a host of adventures.

Back at Camelot the newest knight, Sir Lancelot is causing a stir among the court and especially the Queen.

Told from the point of view of usually minor characters – The Squire’s Tales continues to be a funny, fresh look at Arthurian legends. The second book in the series is a retelling of “Sir Gwain and the Green Knight”

A retelling of the tale of Tristan and Iseult from the point of view of Tristan’s long-suffering brother. Dinadan wants to be a minstrel but his father insists on him being a knight. Despite himself he ends up being heroic and becoming one of Arthur’s knights.

Like the rest of the series this book is funny & action packed. It gives a new spin to the old story with Tristan and Iseult coming out looking very different than usual.

“As for Dinadan, he and Palomides rode the length and breadth of England-and every other nation-singing the tales of Arthur and his knights to everyone who would listen, in every language they could learn, for as long as they both lived.”

This is my first aesthetic! I started this series in high school and never finished; 9 years later, and I still love it just as much now as I did back then. Any other Squire’s Tales fans out there??
