Hello! Thank you for sending the ask (again :D) and I will publish it so that everyone can give recs!
Unfortunately, the only ones I know of are King Arthur’s Daughter by Vera Chapman and Avalon by Mary J. Jones, plus the Merlin and The Book of Beasts movie, all of them about Arthur’s daughter!
“You intrigue me, Merlin. Why does a lowly servant continue to risk everything for Arthur and for Camelot? Time and again you put your life on the line. There must be a reason.”
“I believe in a fair and just land.”
“And you think Arthur will give you that?“
“I know it.”
“And then what? You think you’ll be recognised, Merlin? Is that it?”
“Arthur, I have a husband,” I [Morgause] said, staring down at my feet.
Arthur sat up beside me. “I will kill him, and I will marry you.”
It was all so simple to him. I shook my head, turning to him beside me. I looked at him sadly. His eyes were bright with the fire of youthful certainty, but he did not know what it was really like in the world of men.
The truth is I can’t decide on my casting for arthurian edits, they change all the time and I don’t have that one actor for that character… Except for Morgause, because Sophie Okonedo is the only Morgause my heart will accept now.
Eva Green as Morgan le Fay / Sophie Okonedo as Morgause I have called on the Goddess and found her within myself.
Yes. A thousand of this!
Morgause: What? Lot and I get along perfectly.
Morgause: We have a deep kind of bond. We even finish each others-
Lot: Sentences.
Morgause: Please, don’t interrupt me.
