So I already missed an Inktober day, but oh well!
Here’s a little tribute to one of the best villains (yes, even better than Rasputin) in the Hellboy Mythos; Nimue, the Queen of Blood. While her time was short-lived, her impact on the universe was gigantic, and her arc was one of the best stories in Hellboy (and basically every story is great, so that’s quite the accomplishment!). While I think it’s weird that the new movie is gonna have her as the first villain, I really can’t wait to see how they handle the Queen of Witches!
Racebent Arthuriana (1/?) : The Principal Characters
Prithviraj as Arthur, the once and future king, trapped as much by his mentor Merlin’s vision for a united kingdom as by his own virtue.
Parvathy as Guinevere, his clever, charming, and competent queen.
Arya as Lancelot, his most famous knight (though whether he’s not the actual best is up for debate). Tragically prone to running mad and roaming around the wilderness.
Prakash Raj as Merlin, his wise but ethically dodgy advisor. Too wily for his own good.
Vidya Balan as Nimue, Merlin’s ambitious student and eventual successor who has had just about enough of his nonsense.

nimue, the lady of the lake, is an enchantress in the matter of britain, the body of medieval literature and legend associated with king arthur. she plays a pivotal role in many stories, including giving arthur his sword excalibur, enchanting merlin, and raising lancelot after the death of his father.
