Marc Guggenheim has leaked the title of the upcoming script for Legends of Tomorrow’s upcoming episode Camelot/3000, which appears to be a reference to the 80s mini-series DC published where King Arthur returns in the distant future, where he gathers his reincarnated knights and goes off to fight an alien-allied Morgan le Fey.
It was pretty good from what I remember, acting as a kind of bridge between the DC versions of the characters and the more folkloric incarnations (for example, Arthur in the above art is how he appears in a lot of flashbacks involving Etrigan or Shining Knight back in the day, but flashbacks to Mordred’s origin story have the characters in more traditional armour and a more grim tone).
Strictly speaking Camelot 3000 didn’t really take place in the DCU, per se, but it did involve a lot of character designs which were similar to those used in the aforementioned DC Arthurian stories.
