Myths and Legends: Morgan Le Fay episode (podcast)
I barely recall Morgan Le Fay, or Morgana, when I first read King Arthur’s story as a child. That was a long time ago, when the books I’ve read were written for children and their (my) untainted mind. My audacity to play Avalon probably stemmed from this false sense of / very lacking knowledge on the Arthurian legends, and I got to play not knowing who Morgana nor Lady of the Lake were.
For this episode from Myths and Legends, so much has been revealed in a span of 35 minutes. I learned that Merlin is not an adorable grandpa (Gandalf and Dumbledore are now higher up in my list). Morgan Le Fay is a pretty empowered antagonist, and she only made the most out of her situation if you know what she’s been through. Click the link to have a listen. Then, how about a game of Avalon? Hope I won’t pick Merlin.
In which Dame Leslie and Sir Blackwood reunite for an actually really enjoyable children’s movie. We really have no serious complaints.
