What are you waiting for from Transformers: The Last Knight? Is it true that Liam Garrigan will be King Arthur ??

I have no idea haha ( about the first question)! I’ve never watched Transformers so I only have a vague idea of what it is about, but somehow they are putting King Arthur in it (somehow) and Liam Garrigan will play him : )

so I suppose we’ll wait and see : D

Do you know of any role-playing or strategy games (tabletop or computer) that deal with Arthurian settings or characters, either as part of a wider milieu or purely focused on Arthuriana?

I know less about table game but Shadows over Camelot seems to be THE board game for arthuriana. Then there is the RPG King Arthur Pendragon (quite famous too) by Greg Stafford (and here he recs some other rpg games).

There are also some videogames, some of them quite old and free. But let’s start from recent ones:

Hello . Is there Arthirian book in witch main characters is Lot and his family? Something with their point of view.

Hello! Sorry for the lateness in the answer! As far as I know, not really, if you mean family /and/ Lot. There are many books that focus on Gawain or Agravaine or Gareth but nothing specifically on Lot /and/ family (a part from Mordred’s Curse by Ian McDowell where there is a lot of Lot and Morgause in the first part).

Sarah Zettel’s four books are on Lot’s sons and in the two I’ve read (Camelot’s Shadow and Camelot’s Blood, which are about Gawain the first and Agravaine the second one) there is also something about the characters’ lives with Lot and Morgause. I remember a couple of flashbacks at least.

Sorry, I can’t think of any books where Lot is a main character 😦 Maybe someone else has some recs!

Agreed! As Once Upon a Time and Stargate, I had added The Librarians directly to the list of arthurian tv shows as it felt like the arthurian theme was a bit spread/recurrent among the episodes/series.

@robin hood anon: Once Upon A Time has both King Arthur and Robin Hood. Also Fate/Extra; Fate/Labyrinth and Fate/Grand Order all have Robin Hood (as well as “King” Arthur)

Are Nimue and the Lady Of the Lake the same person?

Yes and no! There are different ladies of the lake!

For example in Malory Nimue is one of the ladies of the lake while the other one has no name (she is just called Lady of the Lake) and first gives Arthur Excalibur then she is killed by Balin for a vendetta.

in the Vulgata instead Vivian/Ninian is also one of the ladies of the lake!

Are there any books or tales where the Robin Hood ‘mythos’ is thrown into the mix?

In “The Once and Future King” there’s Robin Hood in the first book! I don’t remember seeing Robin Hood legends in any other arthurian novels.

About other media, in the old Robin Hood tv show there was an arthurian episode called “Return to Camelot” (s04e09). There’s also Robin Hood in King Arthur’s Disaster cartoon!
