Arthur: In token therefore, of your valor and your victory and of the honor you thereby confer in all our court and company ourself, King Arthur, invests us all alike, Knights of the Noble Order of the Silken Sash. Sir Bedivere. Sir Agravaine. Sir Bors– Gawain: (Alone of these all, I know, and better than any. This band of green I bear about me in honour of no exploit and no excellence, but in memorial how one midwinter morning I met my master on a mountainside, and he invested me with Emblem of the Order of Imperfect Man.)
I think this is the best conclusion made explicit. Storynory [Part 1] [Part 2] produced an adaptation in audiobook from Morgan’s perspective (kind of) and also makes that conclusion.
Also, I like that third screencap because it’s like “Uncle Arthur, you can’t even invest me straightly” when he fixes the sash.
Thought I’d continue some more screencaps of this delightful episode!
Sofia and Calista immediately come to terms with how badly this situation has become- especially for Cedric, whom they both care so deeply about. You can tell Sofia is deeply upset with the stern voice she speaks with, asking Calista about why she stole the jewel. Sofia also solemnly adds that ALL she wanted for today was just for Cedric to pretty much be happy and enjoy it. (She really cares about him because wasn’t this trip a gift she won for herself? Or did she win it JUST to make Cedric’s day? Hmm? ^_^)
Anyways, Calista quickly repents of her thieving as Sofia’s wise/motherly mode kicks on again, and she teaches Calista how wrong it is to just mindlessly steal. They both agree that they should go see Merlin and have Calista apologize to the old Wizard. He’s quite adorable in the way he swiftly forgives her, and gives hope that there COULD still be a way to stop the evil Morgana. Sofia sees a mirror and hatches a brilliant plan to sneak in!
The imps then find a present for Morgana and bring it to her. She seems miffed about it but opens it anyways. Cedric meanwhile has been locked in a cage… like a bird .(He also got zapped for trying to talk smack. LOL.) But when he hears Sofia’s familiar voice echoing from the mirror, his demeanor changes- and you see the hope rise in him again! “Sofia!” ~Gah, I love that cute moment!~
(Once in a blue moon, I actually manage to paint a proper Gawain! Also, I kinda held back on Nell’s hair – I tend to make it much more copious and far less realistic than this :p.)
Thank you for everyone who watched all together at the past group chat, it was super fun! For the next movie to watch together, meet Guinevere (1994) an old jewel with Sheryl Lee as Guinevere and vaguely (veeery vaguely) inspired to Persia Woolley’s novels.
HOW
This is a very homemade streaming as… not really a streaming. We will get in the chatroom all together and then we will start the youtube video of Guinevere 1994
at the same time! The video will be in English without any subtitles. The chat room is free and open, you won’t need to register, just to chose a nickname.
If you come in late, no problem!, we’ll tell you the minute we are at so you can watch it with us or you can also come and just watch the cartoon, later! Also, we will probably take a 15 minutes break at 40 minutes in.
