Series 5, Episode 8: Birth – Merlin Without his Cloak
Merlin goes without his cloak for this very brief scene. It’s nice getting a better look at his tunic and those sleeves are made from a really cool, textured fabric.

This dress has been featured on this blog before but I thought I would post these few shots because I’m kind of in love with that necklace. It’s just so pretty!
E-mail Interview to KIERAN HIGGINS, author of the arthurian novel The Forgotten Sister, published this year.
This is without a doubt the first novel told from Elaine’s point of view, yes, Elaine of Tintagel, Arthur’s third sister. I truly enjoyed this novel and how the character of Elaine was nothing like her sisters Morgana or Morgause, from this novel or previous novels in the arthurian tradition. You may find more about the book on the author’s blog here on tumblr! Support this novel and the author buying it, please! It’s on amazon!
I would like to thank Kieran Higgins for accepting to partecipate to this interview and being so nice with my questions which were actually my own curiosity I needed to ask just after reading the novel, haha! Hopefully we’ll see more of his arthurian novels in the future!
WARNING: Both the questions and the answers contain some very slight spoiler from the novel.
