The Buried Giant

A novel by Kazuo Ishiguro (2015)

“Our strange affliction interested him greatly and he questioned me again and again on the matter. And then  he ventured something I dismissed at the time, but have since much pondered. The stranger thought it might be God himself had forgotten much from our pasts, events far distant, events of the same day. And if a thing is not in God’s mind, then what chance of it remaining in those of mortal men?”

A great arthurian novel with actually light arthurian elements! Mostly the shadow of Arthur here and there, and a stray knight… Not for everybody but I liked it!

Daily Drawing: King Arthur. This is my 4th in a series of 5 traditionally male characters that I made a female. Someone on twitter (and I wish I had time to look it up) recommended this one. You guys can also see it’s a quick drawing and painting so it’s far from perfect but I have to be quick these days.
