Seen lots of Mermay stuff floating about (sue me), thought I’d throw my hat in for one. I’m actually pleased with how it came out for the most part.
Another inking test, this time with Morgause. This is done entirely with a Pentel brush pen. By my standards, this is some bold inking :p. Added shading with a 9B Derwent graphite pencil. An alternative for the pencil would be ink wash, which is more permanent (no need for fixative) and doesn’t stain, but unlike pencil it can’t be erased, and since I am not exactly the Queen of Shading, the possibility of erasing stuff does sort of appeal to me…
Thoughts?
This is a very Morgause-y Morgause for me. I am having a hard time drawing her, somehow, but here she came out looking rather the way I think she should.
The speech bubble serves as a little reminder for some dialogue to come :).
