There are many futures, sister. Some are shrouded in mist and others are clear as cut glass. But your gift is powerful and this vision cannot be ignored.

Ayelet Zurer as Viviane
Dan Menasche as Gauvain
I headcanon that the pelt he’s wearing is a boar skin. In De Ortu Waluuanii, Gawain impales an aggressive boar when he lands at a pirate king’s island on the way to Jerusalem. This boar gives him trouble with the local gamekeepers, but that’s fine because those guys get killed.
I read an article that said the boar section in the tale was inspired by a similar venerie encounter in Itinerarium Peregrinorum et Gesta Regis Ricardi (The Itinerary of King Richard). Though somewhere else said it was possible both incidents were taken from Ovid’s Calydonian Boar Hunt.

Once and Future King Character aesthetic: Morgause of Orkney | The Queen of Air and Darkness
The Queen had recognized the impossible. Even in the miasma of her Gaelic mind, she had come to see that asses do not mate with pythons. It was useless to go on dramatizing her charms and talents for the benefit of these ridiculous knights—useless to go on hunting them with the tyrannous baits of what she thought was love. With a sudden turn of feeling she discovered that she hated them. They were imbeciles, as well as being the Sassenach, and she herself was a saint. She was, she discovered with a change of posture, interested in nothing but her darling boys. She was the best mother to them in the world! Her heart ached for them, her maternal bosom swelled. When Gareth nervously brought white heather to her bedroom as an apology for being whipped, she covered him with kisses, glancing in the mirror.
