Squire Terence has his hand full helping Sir Gwain on his latest quest to find the Green Knight. Along the way they meet the damsel Eileen and have a host of adventures.

Back at Camelot the newest knight, Sir Lancelot is causing a stir among the court and especially the Queen.

Told from the point of view of usually minor characters – The Squire’s Tales continues to be a funny, fresh look at Arthurian legends. The second book in the series is a retelling of “Sir Gwain and the Green Knight”

Camelot (1967).

The story of the marriage of England’s King Arthur to Guinevere. The plot of illegitimate Mordred to gain the throne and Guinevere’s growing attachment to Sir Lancelot, threaten to topple Arthur and destroy his “round table” of knights.

Ho boy, this movie is silly. It’s so oddly paced, and way too long, and the performance of Richard Harris as Arthur is, uhhhh, not great. Still, it was nominated mostly in the style categories, which it mostly deserved. It’s not a horrendous film, but it really is not my thing at all. 6/10.
