Celtic women wielded many weapons, including swords, spears and bow. They were also usually teaching young children how to fight.
According to the tradition, they would hang up their weapons when caring for a newborn child but would take them back in case of dire necessity.And so, here is the armor that Ygern of Tintagel is wearing when some events hit her kingdom…
