women of king arthur & knights of the round table: Jenna

I will be faithful in love and loyal in friendship.

Jenna is Penn (Pendragon descendant)’s fiance and one of the fighters at the dojo of Gunner, in Bangkok, where a reunion of descendants of arthurian knights are meeting up and training. Penn doesn’t really believe he is the descendant of a knight, but Jenna is slowly starting to be charmed by this idea even if for all of them it is just a joke, a fun theory. Alongside R. J. Penn, Penn’s cousin Gunner, Tasha and her own ex-boyfriend Lukas (clearly a descendant of Lancelot), she witnesses Elaine’s death and receives this mysterious Holy Grail cup, with the request of bringing it to a woman named Krista.

When the guys manage to capture Mordred, who decided to attack them to get the Grail, Jenna and Gunner work together to find out if Mordred really is who he says.  Later, she fights against Morgana with the other knights, and she is saved by Mordred during the last battle, in his attempt to redeem himself.

Kaamelott for the English speakers

fuckyeaharthuriana:

I am not English but I am not French either and for this reason I’ve felt discouraged to watch Kaamelott for years. The first three seasons were not translated in English and someone even told me that no matter what, I would not understand the elaborate words games with English subs because the tv show was strictly based on them and the language was French. Every translation would be too poor to let me enjoy Kaamelott.
I don’t care. I probably missed a lot of jokes. French is similar to my language but still, it’s a different one and without English subtitles I could have never understand what was going on. And did I love it: from the comedy to the heartbreakingly dramatic last seasons.
So this is for all those English speaking people who, like me, had felt discouraged in starting to watch Kaamelott. Don’t! Okay, translations always lose something of the original idea/word games but they exist for a reason.

SUBTITLES
